As an independent author, one of the most rewarding moments is seeing your books on the shelves of major retailers.

Recently, my team and I accomplished this major milestone: all six of my books—four of The AEON Files and both Dragon Diaries—found homes in Barnes & Noble and Half Price Books. And, if that wasn't enough, these stores are in two different states and three different cities!

The Barnes & Noble inside Kirkwood Mall in Bismarck, North Dakota will have them in stock in the next couple of weeks. The one inside the Dakota Square Mall in Minot, North Dakota will have them on the shelves come Mid-March. Meanwhile, Half Price Books in St. Charles, Missouri will have them on the shelves by the end of the month. A few of the books are even signed.

If you’re an indie author dreaming of seeing your books in major retailers, know that it is definitely possible.
